The Guns-N-Hoses Charity Classic began in 2017 as a vision shared by two police officers passionate about hockey. Their goal was simple: to raise funds for their fellow first responders. What started as a friendly hockey game between local police and fire personnel for bragging rights has blossomed into a significant fundraising initiative. In its inaugural year, the event raised a few hundred dollars, but since then, it has generated over $300,000. All proceeds directly support Minnesota's first responders, either through direct assistance or through partnering organizations.

In 2024, we expanded our mission by introducing the Guns-N-Hoses Charity Golf Classic, held at a local golf course. This inaugural event exceeded our expectations, drawing tremendous support from both participants and local businesses eager to contribute through raffle donations and sponsorships.

Today, Guns-N-Hoses aims to broaden our range of events to continue raising funds for Minnesota's first responders. We invite you to stay updated by visiting our website for details on upcoming events and new initiatives.
Guns-N-Hoses events are organized by the Lino Lakes Volunteers in Public Safety (LLVIPS), a non-profit dedicated to educational and charitable purposes that assist local and statewide first responders.
